Ingredients
- 2 pound ground meat
- 1 cup onion chopped
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 28 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 19 oz can kidney beans or chickpeas
- 1 19 oz can black beans
- 1 12 oz can whole kernel corn drained
- 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp Salt

Instructions
- Brown meat in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Remove any excess fat leaving some for flavour.
- Transfer cooked meat to slow cooker. Stir in water, onions, tomatoes, kidney beans (or chickpeas), black beans, corn, chocolate chips, chili powder, cumin, oregano, and salt. Cook on High for approx. 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
- Top with cheddar cheese or sour cream, if desired.

Add a serving of tortilla chips to bring the balance of carbohydrates to fats and proteins a little closer to 0 and enjoy!
